DC-based soulpunk six-piece Lightmare released our sophomore LP in October 2021, with support from record label This Could Go Boom! The genrebending album tackles themes ranging from climate change and police brutality to the heady, early days of a crush. The recurring motif of nature imagery in the lyrics inspired both the album title and artwork.
